Join us on Saturday 31st May 2025 for our Eid Festival & Bazaar alongside our Hajj exhibition in our Islamic Arts Gallery and across Moseley Community Hub (in the same building). You'll have the chance to visit our popular new exhibition Fabric of Faith: The Arts & Textiles of the Hajj. There will be a full programme of talks plus drop-in and pre-booked activities and creative workshops all day suitable for children, adults and families. We will also have an Eid Bazaar with selected artisan stalls selling artworks and luxury stationery, alongside quality lifestyle, food and drinks stalls - all selected to create an enhanced experience. On top of all this we will have a special sale and auction of selected artworks and donated historic objects to raise funds for our gallery. There will also be professional networking opportunities for creatives from across the Midlands.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Eid while learning about its history and significance, a chance to connect the community, and explore the spiritual and artistic heritage of the Hajj.

THE EXHIBITION - FABRIC OF FAITH: THE ARTS & TEXTILES OF THE HAJJ

If you haven't already visited this popular exhibition that is receiving visitors from across the country, you will not want to miss this! The exhibition explores how the annual pilgrimage of Hajj has inspired pilgrims, artists and art over the centuries through historic artworks, textiles including the kiswa of the Ka'ba and a kiswa from the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), ephemera, and the memorabilia of pilgrims. Supported by the generosity of the Al Tajir Trust.

We are committed to making Islamic art and heritage accessible to everyone so we allow up to two free tickets for those on low income only. However, we rely on the generosity of our visitors to continue our work. We urgently need to raise £12,000 to stay open for another year, and we strongly encourage everyone who books to consider making a donation—£4 per person or £12 per family is suggested, but any amount is deeply appreciated.

For more details about the exhibition and upcoming events, visit MIAH Foundation| Fabric of Faith: The Art and Textile of the Hajj.

We expect a minimum footfall of 350–450 visitors, and are offering a limited number of arts, lifestyle, food, and drink stalls. To ensure variety and fair opportunity, only a few of each category will be selected. Food vendors must be registered and have valid hygiene certificates.
